Promising colt Glenfiddich has recovered from a throat problem, and is back and ready to target the Group 1 2020 Coolmore Stud Stakes.
The Peter Moody-trained galloper was one of the leading chances for the Caulfield Guineas after his win in the Stutt Stakes, but he suffered a throat injury that required minor surgery.

The injury forced him to miss the Caulfield Guineas and a potential berth in the Cox Plate, but Glenfiddich worked well at Pakenham on Thursday morning and appears on track to line up in the Coolmore Stud Stakes on October 31st.
Glenfiddich is currently an $8.50 chance for the Coolmore Stud Stakes.
