Co-trainers Ciaron Maher and David Eustace have confirmed that star colt Anders will be heading to Saturday’s Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington.

The San Domenico Stakes (1100m) winner has suffered an interrupted spring preparation, missing his original Group 1 target, the Moir Stakes (1000m), and suffered from heat stress following his last run at Caulfield.
However, the son of Not A Single Doubt has pulled up well after trackwork on Tuesday morning, and will join fellow Maher & Eustace runners Muntaseera and Holyfield in the stallion-making race.
Anders is currently an $8 chance for the Coolmore Stud Stakes.
