2020 Thousand Guineas Field & Barriers: Hungry Heart Confirmed

Tue 6th October 2020

The final field and barrier draw has been announced for the 2020 Thousand Guineas (1600m), with Chris Waller deciding to bring down his Sydney-based filly Hungry Heart for the Group 1 contest.

Thermosphere brought the strong Sydney form to Melbourne and took out last Saturday’s Edward Manifold Stakes (1600m) at Flemington, and she has drawn barrier 2 for the Thousand Guineas, with Hungry Heart in barrier 3.

The eye catching Instant Celebrity has drawn barrier 9, while leading Victorian hopes Night Raid (barrier 12), Mozzie Monster (11), and Agreeable (14) have all drawn wider gates.
