Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, September 6, and provided our best horse racing tips.

We really see the trickle down effect here from Spring kicking off, with such strong fields on a Saturday at present, we are left with some really quality gallopers going around at our midweek venues.

We’ve cast the net along the breadth of the east coast this week with selections at Sandown in Melbourne, the Kensington track at Randwick in Sydney, and Eagle Farm in Brisbane.

The forecast looks reasonable at all three venues and we are about as confident as we have been for quite some time in our tips this week. It really does look as though we have a good day of midweek racing in store for the punters.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, September 6.

Eagle Farm, Race 1 – 10. Bid For Fame ($2.00)

Well bred mare getting out to her right trip now.

Covered ground on the corner last start after enjoying a good run in transit.

Goes to 1850m, hard fit, and can settle a pair closer from a good draw.

Awful race, should be winning.

Sandown, Race 1 – 5. Gold Bullion ($2.25)

Strong effort on debut at Wyong when closing late over 1200m behind Fire Star. It went on to contest a competitive San Domenico and wasn’t disgraced.

Stepped up to 1300m on soft ground next start and parked outside the leader at a good clip. Wanted to roll about in the straight and Carrazana was too good for him. It brought form out of the Encap maiden race, which now looks very strong on paper.

By Savabeel and gets out to 1500m here on a big circuit. Looks suited and sure to be fitter for the two runs. B Shinn takes the ride.

Brings form out of Sydney maiden races that is proving competitive in stakes grade.

Looks hard to beat.

Eagle Farm, Race 2 – 2. General Boom ($2.90)

Happy to stick with the 4YO entire after he went down as favourite on debut.

Perhaps an overconfident ride there with the jockey going for home very early.

The winner that mowed him down has come out and won again since, so far from disgraced.

Probably leads or parks outside the debutant Action King. James Orman has trialled that horse twice and elected to stick with the Gollan runner in this.

Should be able to control things from upfront with nothing else looking likely to pester them and that makes him pretty hard to run down with a run under his belt and a +9.5m rail.

Polarising is certainly the main danger. It’s had no luck its past two but has also had plenty of chasing and will be spotting this horse a good start.

Kensington, Race 1 – 4. Mountain Guest ($4.40)

Exciting prospect who should prove too sharp for these.

Runner up in the Group 2 Adrian Knox last prep, then resumed with back to back wins this time in, showing a good turn of foot on both occasions.

Still only lightly raced, and still edging towards her ideal trip. I think she has a bit on these.

Kensington, Race 7 – 8. Sovereign Fund ($3.20)

Scratched from an 1100m last Wednesday to be kept for this 1000m event. And they most likely have pulled the right rein with that meeting ending up being abandoned.

Quality galloper who Jamie Kah elected to ride in the 2YO Magic Millions and went around a respectable quote there.

Disappointed in that event but probably had excuses given the farcical circumstances of that week which saw the meeting postponed.

Gelded before resuming this prep and has trialled very impressively.

I think he’s a lot better horse than midweek grade going forward and he looks primed here for a first up kill off two good trials and with an extra gallop under his belt.
