Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, September 28, and provided our best horse racing tips.

A rare treat of Wednesday racing at Rosehill. What is not so rare unfortunately is that there is rain forecast again for Sydney. Rosehill raced well on Saturday though and we expect it to hold up again here.

We’ve focused on that meeting however our two best bets come out of Cranbourne and the Sunshine Coast respectively.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, September 28 .

Sunshine Coast, Race 1 – 3. Count Da Beans ($2.25)

Big winner at Grafton on debut. They thought enough of him to head straight to the Group 2 Champagne Classic off the back of that win.

That was run in absolutely diabolical conditions and if you can find him in the run, you will see he wasn’t disgraced in spite of the margin.

He trailed well leading into this, and looks a genuine metro grade horse with a future on exposed form, and most of these here have proven that might not be the case for them.

Talented enough and looks forward enough to be winning this.

Rosehill, Race 1 – 7. Stylised ($4.20)

Fairly certain the winner will come out of the Rediener race but which horse will it be is the million dollar question.

Could make a case for three of the Waller runners (1, 5 and 12) as well as the Waterhouse runner, but we are leaning to the Godolphin runner here.

The barrier draw played a big part in the thinking, but the big push is McDonald replacing Zac Lloyd.

There’s a few swings against him with the weights with the senior taking over from the claiming apprentice as well as going back to a Maiden Plate from a Handicap race. But the errors of the inexperienced rider is enough to offset the margin of last time, especially with the best in the business now legging up on this Kermadec colt.

Probably a tough race to be tipping in, but I’m prepared to take the unraced favourite on and drill into that Rediener form which looks the right stuff. The draw, the rider and the stable flying is enough to think we have got it right in the opener.

Rosehill, Race 2 – 14. Salaasel ($21/$6.00)

Really thought I’d be working out a case to split the 2 and the 5 on first look but we might have found one out of the trials at big odds here.

This Team Snowden filly has had just the one start where she faced the breeze throughout down the Flemington 1000m. She was honest right to the line behind the promising Giga Kick who would go on to win the Group 3 Vain Stakes at his next start.

She has only had a light let up since that run and her second behind a hard ridden Bjorn Baker runner in one of the quicker heats of the morning was a real beauty.

Should be able to pair off from the draw and Clipperton is riding as good as he ever has since returning home.

Quite astounded by the opening quote.

Cranbourne, Race 4 – 2. Crux ($1.70)

Never got a real crack at them first up, that said, he did finish off like a horse who would appreciate the mile.

Gets that here along with a better draw and some cut out of the ground which will suit given he’s a Euro breed. Plus L Nolen stays on.

This is a very thin maiden, and he looks to have a future.

Best of the day.

Rosehill, Race 7 – 6. Mars Mission ($2.50)

Probably shopping a bit skinny given his draw but there may be a pattern to suit by this stage of the day on a track that is on the quick backup with showers forecast.

I have a very healthy respect for this gelding who showed plenty of promise kicking off his career as a colt before being gelded and then sold to other interests.

Going off exposed form, he does his best racing fresh, and you really can’t go past him off his trials with that in mind.

See how the day pans out and how the track is playing and take note of scratchings. But he is talented enough to overcome most of those obstacles in this.
