Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, September 21, and provided our best horse racing tips.

A couple of good things early, and a couple of nice ‘roughies’ late on a day where we are pretty confident we will end up in front.

Some average weather about again. Surprise! Surprise! But we’ve cast our net far and wide this Wednesday heading to Bendigo for our best of the day, Gawler in SA for our 2nd best, then back to Canterbury in Sydney for a couple of wider priced gallopers we are going to chance in the last two races.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, September 21.

Bendigo, Race 2 – 1. Ferrari Man ($2.25)

We head to Victoria for just the one bet and we are firmly expecting to walk away with a winner.

This race profiles beautifully for a Waterhouse and Bott runner.

Stepping to a mile maiden, third up, free rolling on pacer in a race where he looks the only leader and we expect it to be run in trying conditions with a heavy track at time of acceptances and rain forecasted.

Add to that, he ran a super cheeky race last start where it took a handy galloper to run him down late, and I have a very high opinion of the 3rd horse.

He is the best of the day and he will get you in front early.

Canterbury, Race 1 – 3. Northuldra ($8.50/$2.50)

Strong midweek maiden for the opener on the Sydney card but we are going to chance one at good odds.

This Annabel Neesham mare is resuming off a long spell but certainly showed a zest for racing in her two return trials and comes out of two strong races at her only two starts to date.

Boxed to the line solidly behind the smart Mallory on debut who would go on to finish runner up behind Mazu in the Fireball in the Autumn.

And then was caught deep throughout but far from disgraced on a trying track behind smart mares Four Moves Ahead and She’s All Class in the Group 2 Sweet Embrace.

Obviously has had some issues but there is no sign of them off her recent trials, the latest where she attacked the line gamely behind Shohei who is half her quote here and a little suspect at the 1200m.

Good each way play early in the day.

Gawler, Race 1 – 3. Alpine Fun ($4.00)

She’s been excellent her two runs back in and has come back a handy little mare.

Thought we were home for a big result second up when we tipped her and she flashed late to dead heat with Pretentious Lass who she meets again today. She draws better here, has been kept fresh for this and strikes it third up whilst still meeting that horse at the same weight.

Quality stable, quality rider and she looks a reasonable quality mare whose career is trending in the right direction as opposed to a few of these.

Looks one of the better bets of the day.

Canterbury, Race 6 – 11. Cholante ($3.10)

We tipped this filly from the Clarry Conners yard when she had her first start at huge odds. That was in the Wyong Magic Millions.

She was a little underdone there for stakes grade at 1100m on debut, but she wasn’t the only one. A pretty handy gelding named Hell I Am who recently won in town on a Saturday also came out of that race. And like him, this filly has come back a much better horse this time in.

Absolutely blew them away from back in the field at Nowra, and then whilst she didn’t win by the same space at Wyong her next start, she was equally as impressive stepping up to Class 1 at provincial level.

William Pike rode there, and he sticks here. She doesn’t draw great but she gets back anyway and has a serious turn of foot, and you would imagine they’ll bet around her given she isn’t from one of the big yards.

Seems to get through rain affected ground, and I imagine this track will be reasonably chopped out and trying by this stage of the day if the forecasters have it right.

Might just set up nicely for a swooper down in the weights.

Canterbury, Race 7 – 8. Golden Point ($15/$4.60)

*This horse has since been scratched.*

Hopefully saving our best for last here.

Very talented and underrated galloper from the Stirling Osland yard venturing into town again where he has tasted success before. That was in a Highway over 1200m against a horse called Shelby Sixtysix who he beat fair and square, even kicking back after being headed that day.

His two other runs in town, both in Highways, both beaten less than a length, and both with genuine excuses.

Decent break, but came back and beat a handy field in a Tamworth feature sprint.

Another who draws bad but we are hoping for a favourable pattern by the last race. Appears to handle the ground, and has a real dogged determination to win which explains his very handy record.

Expect him to run a race at odds.
