Free Horse Racing Tips - 14th Sep

Overwhelmed?

Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, September 14, and provided our best horse racing tips.

As we push deeper into Spring and see Saturday cards full of black type racing, it is only logical that we see some better types of horses pushing back into midweek grade, which along with juveniles resuming and heading toward better targets, ensures high quality fields at venues such as Warwick Farm and Sandown, which is precisely what we have this week.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, September 14.

Sandown, Race 1 – 7. Lottwon

Would have preferred a better draw but that can be overcome at Sandown on the Hillside against maiden grade particularly if you think you can win a G1 Caulfield Guineas.

This horse is nominated and has shortened significantly for that race. Trialled good leading into this.

One would imagine he only needs to overcome the draw, and he should be winning this.

Warwick Farm, Race 1 – 2. Rediener

We tipped him at big odds as our best roughie of the day a fortnight ago and we looked home at the 200m.

It was just match practice that was the difference there with the handy Scientist having the benefit of a couple of runs under his belt and this bloke being first up at the 1400m.

Second up today, stays at 1400m, draws barrier 1, Hugh Bowman rides on a drying track in probably an equivalent quality of race to the other day.

Goes from best roughie a fortnight ago to our good thing this week.

Warwick Farm, Race 2 – 1. Great Barrier Reef

Another we tipped at double figure odds recently and one we probably should have got a result out of.

We got the price because of the draw on that occasion, and ultimately that was what brought us undone. Forced back last on the Kensington track, and had to come 7 and 8 deep on the bend. Wanted to lay in when he got tired late, but never shirked the task and his run was a lot better than the 5th in the form guide suggests.

Draws better here and hard to imagine him not running top 3 at each way odds.

The favourite, the Godolphin colt, Pereille trialled in comparable time to Andermatt at Hawkesbury recently, but he has come out average in both public trials and there’s a few here you would expect to press forward. He could find himself in an awkward spot when they settle and won’t have a whole lot of time to rectify that in what should be a truly run 1100m scamper.

Leaning to the Waller colt that will carry the Coolmore colours.

Warwick Farm, Race 4 – 4. California Surreal

This mare is a lot better than her one from nine record suggests.

Not asked to do much in a recent trial that Eduardo came out of.

Her one win, in which she trounced them, came first up, at 1250m, on a good track. Same, same here just at 1300m but a year older and more seasoned.

Copped heavy tracks late in that campaign so wasn’t able to add to her tally, but she went very close off a six week freshen up when she copped a check early on in the straight before diving late to just miss behind Vilana who would go on to win a stakes race his next start, and a Group 3 two starts later, and then rounding out his prep going down 5.5L to Alligator Blood in a Group 1 Stradbroke.

I tend to think that sort of form stands up rather well here.

Probably going to have to go back from the draw but has a very good turn of foot to run into contention.

A lot to like about our best roughie of the day.

Warwick Farm, Race 7 – 16. Shalailed

Hopefully our best roughie and best bet of the day have got up by now and we have plenty to play with as this fellow is well worth specking at very big odds.

Literally has never run a bad race (5:1-2-2). All in $50k races or better,

His first prep he lobbed a 3rd behind Magic Millions runner up, Russian Conquest.

Managed a win in between two seconds from just three runs last prep, one on the opposite leg at Caulfield on a Saturday.

Placed two from two first up, beaten a combined margin of less than a length. Placed at the track, and a winner and a runner up from two starts at this trip. Drawn suitably. Claims for Reece Jones. Trialled well. Has opened well into double figure odds. Stable flying.
