Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, October 25, and provided our best horse racing tips.

It’s Geelong Cup day, and whilst we’ve seen the Melbourne Cup winner come from this race in the past, I doubt we will see it this year.

That said, I think we have found the winner of the feature for this Wednesday, but I doubt his credentials going forward this season as a lightly raced 4YO given what we saw from the likes of Gold Trip and co. on Saturday in the Caulfield Cup.

Firmish tracks again for Sydney, which might not be to every trainer’s liking as we heard from Chris Waller on the weekend, but as punters we are concerned with horses for courses, and we think we have found one that profiles perfectly in the last and we have made it our best of the day.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, October 25.

Kensington, Race 1 – 2. Betta Be Single ($2.75)

Very thin race to kick off the program but we see some franked form with this horse through Miss Judas in the Kirkham last Saturday and that should be good enough to win this.

Miss Judas was the run of the race in the 2YO feature on Saturday coming from well back on a track which runners were reluctant to stretch out on.

Betta Be Single was a solid 2nd to that horse, margin to 3rd in her only public trial.

I’d be shocked if that isn’t the right form to bank on going off what we have seen at the trials from these other debutants.

Geelong, Race 5 – 5. Nondisclosure ($11/$4.40)

Lovely big type typical of the Dundeel breed.

He hit the front way too soon at Kembla but still got it done.

Third horse won well Saturday.

Gets to his right trip here.

Maybe going off a run too soon but his price is right as he heads toward a VRC Derby.

Open race.

Geelong, Race 7 – 13. First Immortal ($2.75)

Form lines from everywhere to line up here which is what we’ve come to expect for these types of races around this time of year. But there’s nothing really jumping off the page internationally and the form from the staying races around the rest of the country is very suspect.

Very hard to go past the local galloper on that score.

A 4YO with plenty of upside. He ran into a smart one last time out when stepping out past a mile and a half for the first time.

He’ll be all the better for that experience, sure to have stripped fitter, and would only need to maintain that level to account for these I feel.

Eagle Farm, Race 7 – 3. Dark Chill (TBA)

Potentially handy middle distance type who resumes here after an aborted QLD Derby campaign.

Not knocked around in his trial and I suspect he has a target race over further ear marked for him this campaign, but it’s not uncommon to see these sort of gallopers pull out a run fresh after a good break.

Stretched from 1200m out to 2200m in his first prep. Probably cost himself a race or two along the way due to inexperience.

Four months off and resumes here older and wiser hopefully.

Can rattle off a sectional late and can feature here at odds if something elects to run along.

Worth an each-way ticket if you are in front.

Kensington, Race 7 – 10. Shadows of Love ($3.10)

Very handy mare out of the Kim Waugh barn suited by conditions here.

No luck when they tucked in behind them at 1100m first up. Imagine they’ll take a more positive position here from the good draw, out to 1250m, on what looks to be a firmish, leadership track again.

You will know the pattern by the last, a few handy types in this but she has always looked above average and her stars align for this.
