Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, October 18, and provided our best horse racing tips.

We strike a feature meeting at Caulfield this week, with a couple of nice support cards at the Kensington track in Sydney, Ipswich in Brisbane, and Balaklava in SA.

We found four winners on top this time last week and it looks like another good day here to try and play around with the shorter priced favourites and land yourself a decent value multi.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, October 18.

Balaklava, Race 1 – 12. Splish Splash ($3.80)

A 3YO Headwater filly from the powerful Jolly yard, set to break through here at start number four.

Did everything right in the run, just found one better on the day in the Jake Stephens trained Aeronomic.

Drawn well, not an overly big filly by the looks so the claim will help here. Looks a reasonably straightforward ride.

Has the hoof on the till and is going to prove very hard to catch carrying below the minimum.

Kensington, Race 2 – 5. Keenan ($2.20)

Nice colt by Capitalist out of the Waterhouse and Bott yard who is ready to win after just running into a very smart one last start.

Gave plenty of sight there, kicking back late after leading all the way, going down by a neck on the line.

A good margin to the 3rd horse there. No issue going to 1300m for horses out of this system.

Tim Clark sticks, and both the stable and the jockey are firing on all cylinders at the moment.

Caulfield, Race 6 – 2. Dancing Alone ($3.00)

High quality Bryce Heys trained I Am Invincible mare who should probably be undefeated.

Genuine excuses for the one blemish on the form page. She more than made up for that with a convincing all the way win having her first start in Melbourne down the Flemington straight.

Led comfortably in that race and there was plenty there when Shinn pushed the button.

Has to carry weight against the boys here but she is flying and finds a winnable race worth good prize money at an unusually programmed meeting. Drawn respectable and Shinn stays with her to guide her around Caulfield the first time.

Good enough to win here and then tackle some black type back races when they get back to Flemington.

Kensington, Race 6 – 10. Schwarz ($1.85)

A $1.25 million yearling who won like $1.25 million dollar yearlings should when they debut.

Dwelt a little there before taking up a commanding position and blowing his rivals away.

Facing a tough task here stepping out of maiden grade into a BM72 but good horses are able to make that leap and he does look like one of those.

Goes to 1300m, Tommy Berry sticks with him and is sure to be all the better for having ridden him under race conditions.

Looks set to go on with things.

Ipswich, Race 6 – 11. Spicy Legend

Peter Robl trained Justify colt getting back to his right trip now after a dominant 5L victory last start.

Drawn poorly here but expect they’ll look to be positive on him as he does appear to have a think about things and he has run his best races when up on the pace.

He’s shown enough ability to win this sort of race, but expect you’ll get a bit of value on account of the poor draw. Guthman-Chester a good enough rider to negate that but you should know your fate after the first 100m.

Worth a play at each-way odds.
