Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, October 11, and provided our best horse racing tips.

A sound looking program at the midweek workhorse that is Warwick Farm in Sydney.

We strike a Good rated track with a 5m rail there and have found a couple of on pacers amongst our selections.

We are avoiding a heavy rated track in Sale for the Victorian midweek program and have found Ipswich to be a graveyard of late, so we head to Mt Gambier in SA for what should prove to be an early multiplier for later multis courtesy of the Henry Dwyer team.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, October 11.

Warwick Farm, Race 1 – 1. Counteroffensive ($5.00/$2.15)

A mini Breeder’s Plate consultation race here and we are tapping into the trial form of the winner of that race.

This Team Snowden colt by Deep Field bungled the start in his only public trial behind Espionage.

He was quick to tack on though before easing off their heels and letting down nicely in the straight, not knocked around late.

The stable are likely to have ironed out his barrier manners by making good use of the facilities at their Randwick base. A clean getaway last time out would have had him going to the line with the eventual winner of his heat.

That would be good enough to be winning here.

Suitable gate in a small field and McDonald takes the reins.

Mt Gambier, Race 1 – 2. Berry Foxie (TBA)

Lightly raced mare from prominent Victorian yard who travels over the border here for a thin looking Class 1 after a solid Maiden victory last start.

She has improved with each run over increasing ground and should account for this lot very comfortably stepping out in trip again.

On the up. Won’t be much price but should be winning.

Warwick Farm, Race 2 – 2. Kaizad ($2.20)

Happy to stick with the Waterhouse and Bott trained Capitalist gelding here.

Runner up to Makarena two back who came out and won the feature Tapp-Craig race worth half a million on Saturday.

Stays at 1400m. Gutsy in defeat last start after crossing to lead from an outside draw.

Sure to strip fitter 3rd up. Draws better. Stable and stable/jockey combo firing on all cylinders at present.

Good track with a 5m rail, will prove hard to catch.

Warwick Farm, Race 3 – 3. Need Some Luck ($3.20)

Rubick colt from the Team Snowden yard who probably cost himself a race through lack of experience and racing manners last prep.

Really enjoying these super maidens lately at the midweeks as just about everything in them is here to win and not just for the hit out until they find the right trip, as you see a lot of the time on a Wednesday.

Really liked his trial where he settled beneath horses and let down strongly along the rail.

Couldn’t find too many excuses for Kundalini last start. She’ll start short again here, and we are hoping she finds one better again.

Warwick Farm, Race 7 – 4. Silentsar ($5.50/$2.15)

Magic Millions feature maiden winner who returned to form to kick off this prep with a dominant all the way victory at Canterbury over 1100m.

Carved up by McEvoy 2nd up sitting 3 deep facing the breeze outside the lead pair throughout.

Bold effort when going to 1200m in trying conditions that belie the Good 4 you see in the form guide after a torrential downpour late on race day.

Stays at 1200m and I expect Clark to sit outside Rachel King and look to dictate terms to her hitting this fourth up against her fresh horse.

Handy type going better than his form suggests. Double your stake if there’s any leader bias established by this stage of the day.
