Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, November 9, and provided our best horse racing tips.

What a difference a week makes! Multiple races for multiple millions of dollars at multiple venues on Saturday, and throughout the last month, and now we find ourselves back at provincial venues racing for midweek prize money right around the country.

Once again, racing proves itself to be the great leveller. Which is exactly why we love it. And rest assured, the horses don’t know how much they’re racing for, and there is a winner in every race. So let’s get about the business of finding them.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, November 9.

Hawkesbury, Race 1 – 3. My Eloise ($2.10)

Drove through to lead on debut before being run down with 100m to go by a recent Saturday metro winner in the promising Mars Mission.

Solid run second up before she failed third up and was tipped straight out.

Three months off, two really good trials where Rachel King has piloted in both. She suits her racy style. Joe Pride is a master with these on pacers and her formlines stack up.

Will get you off on the right foot.

Hawkesbury, Race 2 – 4. Exile ($3.60)

Did everything right in the run on debut at Kembla and looked the winner peeling clear.

Didn’t look entirely comfortable in the ground, although more than likely they just sprinted a bit quick for her over the 1200m. She’s a Fastnet Rock filly out of a Lonhro mare who was a Group 2 winner over a mile at 3YO.

Her long and low action is very typical of the broodmare sire’s breed, and you can only imagine she will eat up every bit of the 1300m.

Rachel King is a rider renowned for making the most of her opportunities, and she could be in for a big day here, with some of the big hitters away on holidays post spring carnival.

Ipswich, Race 1 – 8. Sibylla ($2.50)

Ran into Golden Slipper winner Fireburn on debut and was far from disgraced.

Hit the line strongly at her second start behind her stable mate who has gone on to contest stakes races.

Went early, covered ground, and couldn’t make ground on a Heavy10 at Canterbury with the rail a long way out.

Shifted to Melbourne, and found them too hot early in Saturday grade 1100m down the straight at Flemington. But was still honest once she balanced up and got clear air.

Sent to QLD for easier assignments. Drew poor, 1200m, got well back and covered ground on the corner. Loomed, before the run told late, first up.

Soft draw, Jimmy Orman, gets to 1350m with a ‘Good’ rated track forecast.

Very weak maiden, and she has more than most on exposed form.

Just wins.

Murray Bridge, Race 4 – 11. Queen in the North ($6.00/$2.25)

This can run a race for you at odds.

Has bounced out in front in each of her public trials before they’ve quickly grabbed hold then covered ground in the run.

If she steps like that here from the #1 draw, with a +8m rail, then she is the one they’ll have to catch over the 900m scamper.

Strongly aided by the engagement of claiming apprentice Jade Hampson who rides with both exceptional balance and poise.

She was able to show most of the senior riders how it was done in her short stint in Darwin, and recently rode half the card at Jamestown not long after transferring to SA.

Anticipating this will run a cheeky race at a price.

Ipswich, Race 4 – 5. Schmoozer ($2.10)

I would be very surprised if this doesn’t run some kind of a race here.

Two starts to date, and is yet to get a decent crack at them, but has finished off strongly on both occasions.

Not perturbed by the wide draw, given the turn of foot he has shown, and it might be the key to unlocking his maiden win given he’s found nothing but trouble from respectable numbers.

Orman on for Allen also negates that, 1350m, winnable race.

Expect a bold showing.
