Free Horse Racing Tips - 16th Nov

Overwhelmed?

Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, November 16, and provided our best horse racing tips.

A quality midweek program with strong cards at each of the main tracks along the eastern seaboard. We head to one of Sydney’s leading surfaces in Rosehill where we have found our best bet of the day to be piloted by one of the country’s best up and coming apprentices.

We’ve found an on-pacer on the way up who should lead throughout around the Sandown Lakeside circuit, whilst we’ve found a roughie who might start closer to favourite by jump time if my suspicions about this galloper having his first run for a new barn are correct.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, November 16.

Sandown, Race 2 – 5. The Unicorn ($1.95)

*This horse has since been scratched.*

This won’t be the walk in the park like it was last start but it is very hard to go against the Waterhouse/Bott filly here.

There’s a few dropping back in grade here after having a throw at the stumps at black type races over the carnival. Whilst it reads good on paper, you have to wonder how much they are going to have left in the tank at this point. And they are going to have to be on their game to try and keep in touch with this one.

Never shy to back Gai’s on pacers going out in trip. Newitt sticks, she handles the ground and is going to be hard to peg back around the Lakeside circuit.

Short enough, but should get it done.

Rosehill, Race 1 – 1. Oriental Tycoon ($3.00)

Giving the #1 the slight nod over the #2 here.

High Blue Sea does look a talented type but still has a bit to learn, and a sticky draw and a +7m probably don’t aid his educational experience here.

Oriental Tycoon on the other hand, has looked a ready made racehorse since the first time he stepped out.

Buried close to last the fence on that occasion before working home strongly between runners late over an unsuitable 1100m on the Kenso circuit.

Tipped out and resumed over 1400m where he ran a nice 2nd to what looks a genuine metro grade galloper. The first 3 or 4 across the line in that had a bit on their rivals and all look to have a future.

Honest again when boxing on along the inside on a very firm track at Hawkesbury on Oaks day.

Comes back to 1400m, third up, hard fit and gets his toe back into the turf. McDonald replaces Clipperton.

Looks the one to beat.

Doomben, Race 1 – 5. Singer Sargent ($6.00/$2.25)

*This horse has since been scratched.*

We tipped this guy in one of these on the back of his maiden run. They scratched from that and returned to the 1350m where he once again raced like he wanted every every bit of the mile.

He just bombed the start on that occasion. Ryan Maloney takes over here and it shouldn’t matter where he lands anyway with plenty of time to warm up over the 1650m.

Looks a promising miler plus and this looks a nice race for him.

Rosehill, Race 3 – 6. Airman ($2.25)

Excellent win on debut from a tricky spot on a tricky circuit.

Given a break and resumed at odds at Kembla. Travelled beautifully then took an extra half a furlong to really switch on than what backers would have liked to see, but he really motored late once he did.

The step to 1300m looks ideal here. Seen enough of Zac Lloyd now to suggest he’s capable of getting the best out of him and negating the poor draw.

Expect him to round these up fairly comfortably over the concluding stages. Looks promising.

Doomben, Race 4 – 3. Ljungberg ($10/$3.30)

*This horse has since been scratched.*

Former Ron Quinton trained galloper who has been plagued by injury throughout his career but has more than his fair share of talent.

Interesting to see him pop up here after more than two years off. No public trial for the new stable which does like a punt, and leading QLD rider Ryan Maloney engaged first up here.

He was verging on stakes grade in Sydney at 3YO this horse, and if they have him right, he’ll do a job on these.

Very good trainer in John Smerdon, I’d suggest going off the lead of the Maloney engagement, he’s ready to roll.

Definitely worth a ticket.
