We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, June 28, and provided our best horse racing tips.
A nice card of midweek racing with particularly strong fields for this time of year at Warwick Farm. It appears we’ll get a good track there with the rail in the true position, so the meeting has been very well supported and offers some value mixed in with some well placed favourites who should get the cash.
We also bookend the Eagle Farm meeting with picks in the first and the last there, with another good track and the rail out to the 8 metre mark after the Group 1 Tatt’s Tiara meeting on Saturday. A big circuit there that appears to be copping racing well these days so you can play with confidence.

Eagle Farm, Race 1 – 2. Denote ($3.10)
Unraced but professional looking filly from the Chris Waller yard who they’ve elected to head north with for her debut after a couple of handy recent trials.
James Orman gets the assignment, and she did everything right in her most recent public outing in behind the handy Waterhouse galloper Coincide over 900m.
By Justify out of a Redoute’s Choice mare, so the 1200m and beyond should prove no issue for her.

Warwick Farm, Race 2 – 4. Crusader Razor ($4.20)
Looks better suited here going from the Kensington circuit over 1150m to the roomier Warwick Farm track at 1200m and in a full field.
Just got a bit lost last time when he took a while to muster and with nothing to take him into the race from well back in the tiny field.
Still very new to it all but looked above average the way he was attacking the line late.
Looks a nice second up target.

Warwick Farm, Race 4 – 2. Green Shadows ($1.75)
Winner of his first two starts, it has been a while between drinks but he does look ready to step back into the winners stall here.
Has met some decent company in between including a benchmark race here over a mile back in November where he looked home before being run down by Kovalica with the WA Derby winner, Awesome John well back in third.
Only beaten 2,4L in the Magic Millions Guineas over this distance before resuming with a hard finishing 2nd from well back in a race he raced very fresh cluttered up beneath runners.
Snagged back and well held in a tune up trial. Should have too much class for these.

Warwick Farm, Race 6 – 7. Nostalgia ($2.50)
She wasn’t hard to find out of her trials, but we did make her one our best of the day when she resumed and she saluted accordingly.
The runner up out of that race did a good job carrying top weight against the older horses and winning at Newcastle on Saturday by a good margin.
McEvoy up, good draw, and the step from 1250m to 1300m looks no issue
Can rise to the sharp step up in grade.

Eagle Farm, Race 8 – 2. Meritable ($2.30)
Lightly raced, former Group 1 placed 4YO entire who is a recent addition to the Neesham stable.
Far from disgraced first up after a year off when raced handy and peaked on his run over the 1350m in Saturday grade.
Huge drop in class to a Wednesday C1 and back to the 1200m looks an ideal turning point to get him back on track.
He would only have to repeat his first up effort here. Well placed.
