Free Horse Racing Tips - 15th Feb

Overwhelmed?

Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, February 15, and provided our best horse racing tips.

Whilst the Sandown Hillside and the Randwick Kensington tracks are traditionally very tricky circuits to navigate with the rail out, I like our chances of getting a result this week.

We look to both of those meetings, along with highlighting a long overdue runner at Doomben, for our top picks this week.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, February 15.

Randwick, Race 2 – 2. Journalism ($3.00)

Got to the mile second up, and just found out late.

The winner of that race was good again in defeat next start.

Dual accepted but this looks the right race.

Should either hold the rail or get a gun run 3rd the paint.

3rd up, Waterhouse Bone ‘n’ Muscle second go at a mile.

A lot to like.

Randwick, Race 3 – 5. Outsider ($3.80)

3rd up after two gritty runs at 1400m, Avdulla sticks, gets the sting out of the track, on pacer, +5m rail, good draw, with the Waller polish.

The ‘Outsider’ should be a short priced favourite.

Let’s go!

Randwick, Race 4 – 4. Lascars ($4.20)

Talented gelding from the powerful Godolphin team who has done most of his racing in good company.

Prepared to overlook the 1 from 9 win rate on that score as he does pose a few handy seconds on his resume including finishing 1.25L runner up to Giga Kick.

Headwall is 2 from 2, and has done plenty wrong in both his wins. I think he’s a horse to follow going forward but he would have needed to come back a much stronger horse than he was last time in to be able to put these away first up.

Both have trialled well, but leaning to the Godolphin runner with the McDonald factor and a horse that is stakes performed.

Doomben, Race 4 – 9. Anatini ($4.60)

There’d be very few trainers that start work earlier or work harder than this Gold Coast based trainer. And I can certainly guarantee there’s none that walk faster!

Picture Kerry Saxby leading a double with a copy of the Gold Coast Bulletin under their left wing as the fog is still settling along Racecourse Rd and you might just see Lenny Wheeler emerge from the mist in your fever dream.

Absolutely deserves a win this horse. No knock on the efforts of Mick Cahill or Benny Thompson the past few, but the appointment of KWT is a really good ‘all in’ push here.

She always puts herself in the race. Second go at the same track and trip. She’s an on-pacer who gets the #1 draw and her preferred kind of track.

Today is the day.

9. Anatini ($4.60)

Sandown, Race 4 – 1. Pacific Ruby ($2.25)

This mare has grown a leg since joining the Maher and Eustace stable and there seems no reason to say she can’t put up the picket fence for them here.

The 1300m poses no problems. She draws soft so should be able to settle reasonably close which will help with the +13m rail. Jamie Kah stays on board, and she ticked the good track box last start.

The 2, 3 and 7 look the main dangers and they are all resuming. Classy, and has a fitness edge. Should prove too strong.

Best Bet – 5. Outsider (Randwick, Race 3)
Next Best – 1. Pacific Ruby (Sandown, Race 4)
Best Each Way – 9. Anatini (Doomben, Race 4)
