Overwhelmed?

Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, December 14, and provided our best horse racing tips.

It is Wyong Magic Millions day this Wednesday, with a strong card and a number of feature races that include exemptions to the Gold Coast’s premier race day which is going to be upon us before we know it in early January.

We have drilled our focus down there, with a couple of more than worthy side bets to be had at Sandown and Doomben.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, December 14.

Doomben, Race 1 – 8. Satashi (N/A)

*This horse has since been scratched.*

A small field in the opener in the Sunshine State.

There looks a solid enough tempo, and I expect it to be run on yielding ground if the forecasters have it right. And all that should set up nicely for the debutant So You Think filly from the Heathcote yard.

This looks a thin affair on paper, and she gave the impression she would have eaten up the last furlong in her trial had she been asked.

An attractive prospect if you can find her on the second or third line of the market.

Wyong, Race 3 – 2. Mr Wallace ($2.65)

Happy to declare the favourite here in spite of the 59kg.

Draws a lot better than his main rivals. Impeccably bred gelding getting towards his right trip.

Should probably lead here, and pretty softly. None better in the business than T Clarke at that caper.

Just wins.

Wyong, Race 4 – 7. Hell I Am ($2.30)

Debuted on this day last year, without much luck in the 2YO feature.

Two stone lighter these days and really came of age last prep.

He’s the best horse in the race, his only query is the dry track box.

I tend to think that isn’t an issue, even though his stats lean toward him being a wet tracker, I think he was just better than them as he progressed over the Winter.

Going to need luck from the draw, but he gets McDonald, in a relatively small field. With a couple drawn outside him to cart him across.

Could probably sit three deep and still win this.

Very smart.

Sandown, Race 2 – 7. Bel Air ($2.30)

Looked a put in, take out affair off the nominations, then the Racing Gods conspired against us at the barrier draw.

Sticky enough, but Melham steers and this horse has been really solid to date, suggesting he is the genuine article.

Decent margin to Aft Cabin last start, but he did go on to much bigger and better things, including a Caulfield Guineas win. And there was a space to 3rd and beyond in that race.

Appears to handle rain affected ground, would only need even luck around the Lakeside circuit and he will be winning.

Wyong, Race 6 – 8. Fire Lane ($7.00/$2.30)

‘Tradesman like’ is a far from a flattering description for a 2YO filly, up and about in the early part of Summer that is targeting Magic Millions glory, but that is exactly what this girl is. She just gets it done.

I have a very high opinion of the Godolphin colt, Cylinder. He looks to have a lot of quality about him, and the form around him is rising to the surface. And you could just about say she beat him fair and square on debut in the Max Lees on debut.

She drew better, had the softer run, but he came at her with better momentum and she put the ears back and staved him off.

Jay Ford sticking is probably not ideal from a strike rate point of view, but he has sat on a few good ones, and been out of the mix for a while. She could be the one to get him back in the frame?

She’s the only horse to win a race in the field, and she did that beating a horse who was absolutely slaughtered in a stakes race last start where he should have bolted in.

Silly price, we are making her the best roughie of the day.
