We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, August 9, and provided our best horse racing tips.
A few blackbooked runners popping up here who have been without luck their past couple and look set to feature at good odds.
Very keen in the first at Warwick Farm whilst we should get a result from a short priced favourite in the opener at Balaklava which we hopefully can multi into some longer priced runners for a result later at Doomben.

Balaklava, Race 1 – 2. Clarence ($1.95)
Two solid runs to date including a fast finishing runner up this track and trip on debut.
Freshed up and a pass mark trial in between sees him in good stead here to take out this thin looking maiden.
Looks the winner.

Warwick Farm, Race 1 – 1. Encap ($5.50/$1.90)
Very unlucky debut after trialling strongly.
Dragged across heels in desperate need of a run at the 200m before motoring late.
Steps out to 1200m here and should be able to settle just worse than midfield, one off, with genuine tempo upfront.
Looks talented and very backable odds.

Warwick Farm, Race 2 – 1. Don Pedro ($4.40/$2.15)
Very capable on-pacer looks well suited here.
Hard fit dropping back to the mile after failing to run out the trip at 1800m. Bold effort in Saturday metro grade prior to that.
Expect he’ll camp outside Kokoshnik or trail that runner and prove the superior horse in the run home in spite of the impost.

Doomben, Race 4 – 3. Five Star Vixen ($3.10)
Sound return when took up the lead before just weakening late.
Looked set to work into when couldn’t get a crack at them in the straight after sitting in the box seat throughout.
Went to the line with plenty in store there.
Stays at 1200m, 3rd up. Looks ready.

Doomben, Race 6 – 16. Esky ($10/$3.30)
Scratched from a mile race last week and accepted here again at the 1350m.
Drawn badly but can motor home off a quite ride.
Would need a price, but more than capable of featuring if he gets the right kind of luck.
