Overwhelmed?

Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, April 19, and provided our best horse racing tips.

It might be a big come down from The Championships and the Sydney Autumn carnival back to midweek metro racing at Sandown, Warwick Farm, and Ipswich, but like the true professionals we are here at The Racing Sharks, we have gone about our business diligently, and that business is the business of finding you, the punter, plenty of winners!

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, April 19.

Ipswich, Race 1 – 1. Cifrado ($3.30)

Nice horse, knows nothing, can gallop.

Would nearly declare him off an inside draw if he had something to show him around.

Sadly he doesn’t get that here but hopefully that is reflected in his price and we can play him at each-way odds and cheer him on as he charges home.

A couple of first starters in this that have trialled handy, but they are essentially kicking off their careers where this bloke left off at the end of his last prep.

No trial is perhaps a guide they didn’t want to show him up. If the penny has dropped with him, he’ll be hard to hold out.

Ipswich, Race 3 – 1. Central Park ($2.90)

Has had a couple of homes and they have been patient with him, but they might get rewarded for that here.

Soft trial, and meets moderate opposition who have either mostly been plain and/ or had no support in the betting.

He looks a bit better than that. Inside draw. J Orman.

Seems likely.

Warwick Farm, Race 1 – 5. Genetic Freak ($3.50)

Drawn out but like the fact they were positive last start after having to cover a heap of ground the outing prior. A repeat of those tactics here sees him the one they will need to catch.

Expect McDonald will make them earn every inch of this mile, and given the fact he’s 5th up, 3rd go at a mile, I anticipate he will come out on top.

Sandown, Race 3 – 5. The Maggstar ($4.40)

The National Apprentice Race Series lands in Melbourne this week and you’d be hard pressed to find another apprentice jockey hitting the tarmac with as much spring in their step as the Northern Territory based Jade Hampson.

Fresh off a treble on Guineas Day in Alice Springs, punters can be sure Hampson will give this mare every chance even in spite of the wide draw.

Bombed the start then was set an enormous task by her rider before attacking the line strongly late to just miss over 1400m at Pakenham on debut. Will benefit from that experience and rest assured Hampson won’t have any such troubles in transit having cut her teeth on the jump and run type action of the Top End

Expect her to have this out and travelling in a much handier position than the senior rider was able to last start. If she’s able to do that, this mare is going to be very hard to hold out.

Warwick Farm, Race 5 – 10. Queen Yuna ($4.80/$1.95)

Really loving this mare.

We have found her at her past two, and there seems no reason to jump off.

Adept on all going. Has the tactical speed to overcome the draw. And I certainly think she is classy enough to continue progressing through her grades and onto harder assignments.
