We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Sunday, September 25, and provided our best horse racing tips.

Whether you are celebrating with the Swans, or just kicking back like a cool Cat after Saturday’s Grand Final, we have you covered with a special Grand Final Long Weekend Sunday edition.

We have made three selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Sunday, September 25.

Sandown, Race 1 – 9. Botany ($34/$8.00)

Everyone was at a complete loss, including me, to explain the last start flop. Rider didn’t offer much, vet couldn’t find anything, and the trainer has thrown her in here again so clearly he couldn’t find too much wrong with her.

Freakish winner on debut, slaughtered her second start. Then was far too good for them when resuming at start 3, mowing down a pretty handy one.

Forgive a good horse one bad run is the old adage. And at over $30, you could reap the rewards if you abide by that.

Sandown, Race 7 – 2. I’m Thunderstruck ($2.80)

The Underwood Stakes is the best race of the calendar year so far and we are going with the best horse in the country to win it.

No, it’s not Anamoe, it’s not Zaaki, Mr Brightside, or Alligator Blood. It is the Mick Price trained gelding I’m Thunderstruck.

None of the aforementioned horses could have done what he did last start to mow down Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap winner, Alligator Blood.

That was a repeat of a performance to the level that saw him win the Golden Eagle as a 4YO.

Small but select field here. Don’t expect Alligator Blood will bowl along quite like he did last start, now he is stretching to 1800m, but I don’t think he’ll be far off it.

I expect Mr Brightside to take Zaaki into it, and this bloke to track Zaaki, and then run over the top of them down the long run home at Sandown.

Sounds easy, will be anything but that, but I think he is good enough and ready to hit his prime.

Sandown, Race 9 – 1. Ayrton ($4.00)

Scratched last week at the track when the rain came to be kept for this and gets conditions to suit here.

This is his go in life. A very high quality individual when he targets the right races. They have got that wrong with him in the past, but surely they have him worked out now.

This is just about his perfect trip, he needs it dry, and he goes like a bomb fresh.

I Wish I Win looks very good, but Ayrton is already a winner at this grade, and proven to be competitive a few grades higher. The other bloke has to do it. And you are getting a better price for the horse with the runs on the board.
