Overwhelmed?

Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Saturday, September 9, and provided our best horse racing tips.

Plenty of talk this week about the El Nino weather pattern that is about to swarm across the eastern states and plague us with dry, warm weather but I’m hearing very few complaints from punters.

Spring has only just begun but already we have high quality fields to muse over and the promise of a dry carnival with dry tracks is surely as sweet to the ears of racing fans as Daryl Braithwaite pumping out ‘Horses’ as they head out onto a Good 4 in front of a packed crowd at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate day.

We are at The Valley this Saturday, albeit a while off Cox Plate day but we are going to see the biggest headline act in the country go around in Giga Kick.

We’ve also found a nice filly there who won’t be out of place in any of the Sydney or Melbourne features, who is going around at each-way odds this Saturday.

We find a luckless runner first up, getting to his right trip 2nd up at Doomben in Brisbane. And we’ve also declared two mares at Rosehill, one for the Team Blue of Godolphin who look set for a big day.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Saturday, September 9.

Doomben, Race 4 – 5. Shibli ($6.50/$2.10)

No superstar by any stretch but he was absolutely humming in the run home first up after being snagged back last, but found nothing but dead ends in the straight.

The winner of that race is very handy, and he would have really tested him over the final stages had he had any luck.

Now a 7YO, but he is very lightly raced. Is a winner 2nd up and this is his best trip.

Does best on dry surfaces, drawn to go back and motor home and should have plenty in store after being untested when resuming.

Very attractive prospect at the odds if the each-way betting holds up.

Rosehill, Race 6 – 5. Zapateo ($2.35)

She appears to be flying at the minute. Can only imagine they scratched her last week because they thought the stablemate In Secret could win. She didn’t, and I’m not too sure there’s many going around at present that could beat this mare.

She’s trialled super in between. Rosehill suits. Drawn well, Great record at 1200m, and great record fresh.

Zougotcha is about the only thing in the race that can match her class wise but she doesn’t appear wound right up at the minute.

Moonee Valley, Race 6 – 2. Treasurway ($13/$3.60)

Highly talented and highly underrated filly.

Solid win defeating the handy Heuristic last start in a stakes race before going out.

That filly would go on to win at stakes level next start.

She’s contested high quality races almost exclusively to date and been far from disgraced prior to breaking through.

Couldn’t have trialled any better winning her first outing, and then storming home behind Giga Kick in her 2nd trial.

Tipping that stacks up alright for a race like this.

Crunched in early betting, and rightfully so. She is well above average.

Grab the double figure odds whilst they are around.

Moonee Valley, Race 8 – 1. Giga Kick ($1.90)

The form ‘over’ analysers have been hard at work trying to pot this bloke all week.

They are dead set kidding themselves.

He’s either the best sprinter in the country or the second best, and that puts him in the top 2 in the world.

Much more seasoned even though he’s still lightly raced, he has to have improved his racing smarts racing almost exclusively in Group 1 company these days, and that’s all that has cost him in the past.

He’s a gelding, and he’s trialled well so no concern that he’s bulked up and got away from Clayton Douglas the way a colt might from 3YO to 4YO.

The outside draw suits, imagine Craigy will just rifle him into the 1/1 and it will be the end of proceedings.

Rothfire has a great fresh record but he is one horse that is probably looking for further these days at 6YO and is more of a handicapper on his best form than a WFA horse.

Imperatriz goes good, but he beat two mares in the William Reid, one that is now retired and another who is probably not far off.

Bet of the day, and give yourself an uppercut if you’re not on him when he wins.

Rosehill, Race 9 – 9. Argentia ($5.00/$2.00)

Only recently picked myself up off the floor after her last defeat.

Absolutely no luck there, or first up, Joe Pride has this mare flying.

The 1300m looks ideal for her the way she has attacked the line her past couple.

She is at her best on top of the ground and she is a big girl who needs plenty of galloping room. Gets both of those here.

Huge Kovalica fan, but people are forgetting he got beat over 1400m in a stakes race last prep, and it took him until a mile just to win his maiden. Keep him for another day and go with the mare in form.
