Free Horse Racing Tips - 4th Jun
Fri 3rd June 2022

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Saturday, June 4, and provided our best horse racing tips.

The girls take centre stage with the running of the Queensland Oaks at Eagle Farm. Despite plenty of rain in Brisbane, the track has held up amazingly well and the girls may see firm ground. The rest of the eastern states will not be as lucky with Flemington and Rosehill both likely to be rain affected, so search for some wet trackers when assessing form.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Saturday, June 4.

Belmont, Race 3 – 1. Revitup ($1.90)

Thought the up and coming two-year-old filly Revitup looked the best bet around the country this weekend at Belmont Park.

Apprentice Holly Watson takes a couple of kilos off with her claim and this filly just looks a bit better than these.

She returned to racing here last start when sat up on the speed before sprinting clear in the last 200m and won with something in hand. Won four of her five starts and from ideal barrier should add to that impressive record.

Eagle Farm, Race 8 – 5. Shooting For Gold ($6.00/$2.25)

Shooting For Gold caught the eye here first-up when chased home hard into second spot behind Je Suis Belle before starting favourite last start but rider was of the opinion he did not get through the heavy at the Gold Coast.

His record is strong at Eagle Farm (5:3-1-0) and back on home track looks to be a bonus.

Kerrin McEvoy takes the ride third-up from spell and on firmer ground, he looks well placed to return to the winners stall.

Eagle Farm, Race 9 – 1. Barb Raider ($6.00/$2.25)

The girls go around for Group 1 glory and no filly deserves a win in the top class more than Barb Raider. She finished too well and got the prize in the best lead up race The Roses last start after a brave Group 1 placing previously.

Craig Williams provided a first class race for the Jerome Hunter trained daughter of Rebel Raider last start and he sticks aboard again.

Bred to get out to this distance being by a Victoria Derby winning sire and she goes on top in the main race of the day.

Flemington, Race 8 – 15. It’sourtime ($3.10)

It was hard to miss the luckless run of It’sourtime down the Flemington straight here last start when held up badly last 400m and arguably should have won but the form guide says he finished 8th.

Video watchers will be all over that effort from last start and would expect most to be giving him another chance.

He gets out to the 1400m and Jye McNeil should get the ideal run from barrier 5, and he will be keen to make amends in this.

Rosehill, Race 10 – 5. El Buena ($5.50/$2.15)

El Buena was super first-up from a spell at Rosehill when after a chequered run in transit ran on into second spot. That was on similar ground that he is likely to see here.

Jason Collett takes the ride for the Chris Waller trained gelding and he is likely to settle him back in the second half. Look for him to get wide from the corner and swoopers may have the advantage by the last race.

Sure to be better from that outing and his second-up record is solid (4:1-1-1) and from the ideal barrier he should get his chance at some stage in the straight.
