We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Saturday, June 24, and provided our best horse racing tips.

It is Tatt’s Tiara day at Eagle Farm, marking the end of the Group 1 racing calendar for the 2022-23 season.

Fillies and mares races are a minefield at the best of times, especially when you reach black type level, and run them on the last day of a long carnival. So we are avoiding that race like the NSW Blues avoided tackling on Wednesday night, and we are ducking and weaving and looking for some easy targets to pick off here.

We head to Newcastle on the NSW provincial circuit for a couple of handy maiden gallopers, to Morphettville in SA for a filly that delivered the goods for us here last start, and of course to Eagle Farm which bookends our selections with a couple of gallopers that would be right at home in any of the southern states feature race days and both appear primed here.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Saturday, June 24.

Eagle Farm, Race 3 – 2. Luncies ($1.80)

The grey doesn’t win out of turn, but I think the market has it right and he looks the one to beat.

He is the quality galloper of the field, as is evident by the three quality horses he chased home last start.

Any of that trio would be almost unbackable in this, and he went to the line with the minor place getters.

No question the trip, track suits as he takes a while to wind up. Would only need to replicate his last two runs and he’ll be winning.

Newcastle, Race 3 – 1. Gently Rolled (TBA)

Two nice runs since resuming has her clearly on top here.

Attacked the line strongly first up from well back over 1100m at Canberra. Then backed that up with a strong run to the line behind a short priced favourite when stepping out to 1250m in a metro maiden.

This is easier, racing with great heart. Has to carry the 59kg but she has a strong turn of foot and barrier 1 should see her get a soft run to the corner before charging home.

Looks her race.

Newcastle, Race 4 – 10. Satin And Silk (TBA)

Impeccably bred filly who is yet to run a bad race, but has ran into some handy gallopers in the process.

Did everything right when debuting in The Gimcrack, but just a little immature there, weakening late after racing tractably behind the leaders.

Ran into a smart Godolphin filly this track and trip to kick off her next campaign. Big margin to third there. Tipped straight out, sent to Muswellbrook for a feature 2YO event over 900m and encountered an Arrowfield galloper who looks promising.

Has the speed to get across from the bad draw, and is fitter for the first up run.

Can probably sit deep around the one bend and still take this out. Worth thought at an each way price.

Morphettville, Race 7 – 10. Queen In The North ($7.00/$2.45)

Consistent little filly who we’ve stuck by, finally breaking through for us at start 7 last Wednesday week.

She has obviously come through that well if the Jolly camp are backing her up 10 days later.

Sometimes those maiden wins are the hardest to come by, and outside of the top weight, there doesn’t look to be a lot in this. Looks well found with the claim down to 51.5kg.

Expect her to be handy, and give plenty of cheek.

Eagle Farm, Race 8 – 4. Quantico ($7.00/$2.45)

Forgive a good horse one bad run they say?

This bloke’s pretty smart when right, I think they just rode him too pretty last start, and the leader was off and gone and McDonald had him scrambling out of his comfort zone.

I don’t expect the winner will get the same soft run from the car park draw here, and I doubt the apprentice Tyler Schiller will be too worried about styling up on his mount and be a bit more focused on the task at hand.

A rare occasion where you might say J-Mac off is a positive.

Attractive odds.
