Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Saturday, July 22, and provided our best horse racing tips.

Bletchingly Stakes day is generally a good sign we have broken Winters back, and hopefully Winter hasn’t broken too many punters.

We have found a nice debutant at Caulfield on that card, as well as a talented sprinter we are sticking with in the feature after missing a placing first up.

We follow the strong Matthew Dunn stable to Sydney where they are racing at Rosehill and are set for a raid on a late season 2YO race as well as another galloper from a satellite stable who served us well campaigning across three states last prep.

We have had some luck in the Top End of late, and this week we see the lucrative NT Derby take place in which we have declared our best bet of the day.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Saturday, July 22.

Rosehill, Race 2 – 3. Fukubana ($4.20)

Well supported and won accordingly on debut after trialling strongly. The place getters in that wouldn’t be out of place in Sydney midweek grade so no reason to doubt that form coming south for a late season 2YO race.

Looked well above average and the stable have a good record when they target metro races.

Caulfield, Race 1 – 10. Wolfy ($4.00)

Caught the eye when cruising past them in the run home in a recent Werribee jump out.

Very well bred colt, and the booking of Shinn is a strong lead for a debutant.

Follow the market if there’s any push for him late.

Rosehill, Race 9 – 2. The Bopper

*This horse has since been scratched.*

Ran some cracking races last campaign since they have reverted to using him as a hold up and charge home sprinter.

Wisely given two very quiet trails leading into this, expect him to have plenty in store to release off the back of what will be a truly run 1100m here.

Good fresh record. Looks attractive at each-way odds.

Caulfield, Race 8 – 1. Ingratiating ($3.80)

His effort looked a little disappointing on paper first up but we are sticking with him here.

Dwelt, and then had a chequered passage in the straight. He’s a big gross entire, rising 5YO. And whilst his fresh record has been good in the past, it is fair to say such a heavy set horse might start to need a little more match practice as he matures.

Far from disgraced by some handy types. Enough merit in his run to go again.

Darwin, Race 7 – 11. Anphina ($6.00/$2.25)

Transferred to the Kerry Petrick Darwin stable for a crack at the Top End 3YO features after being thereabouts in the fillies classics in SA.

Not much went right when debuting over 1300m, copping some buffeting in behind tired horses when looking to commence a run.

Got a long way off them in the Guineas before circling the field and attacking the line strongly late. She was the run of the race outside of the first pair, and she has the form and the pedigree for this trip.

Not perturbed by the draw. They generally string out in this race, and experienced hoop Paul Denton has the guile to find a passage through them around a circuit he knows well.
