Early spring meets can be tough with lots of resuming runners, but The Shark hit the ground running and led The Shark Club to a big fill up across the metro tracks, including a result in the 2020 Memsie Stakes.

Caulfield

I Am Superman got the day off to a big start at Caulfield, stalking them around the far side of the track before presenting at the perfect time to win easily with Mark Zahra onboard. Also worth following out of this race is Nonconformist, who flashed home late.

Plein Ciel was heavily backed and has had every possible chance in its last two outings, and was disappointing.

Finishing off a big day at The Heath was Mr Quickie, who flew home in the 2020 Memsie Stakes at a very tasty $6.50 for the place!

Watch: I Am Superman get the job done for The Shark Club.

Rosehill

The Shark had a massive day at Rosehill, with Dancing Gidget returning to form well and getting the job done at a big $5.00 on the tote for punters that got on late!

Anders was the most impressive performance of the day, absolutely blowing his rivals out of the water and stamping himself as a potential star, with a trip to the 2020 Moir Stakes, and a possible slot in The Everest on the horizon.

Finishing the day with a bang was Prime Candidate, leading all the way and filling up The Shark Club’s pockets with a big $5 result that was an easy watch from a long way out!

Watch: Anders make light work of his rivals in the 2020 San Domenico Stakes, getting home at $3.80 for The Shark Club!

From Muswellbrook to the Melbourne Cup, Will is mad about all things racing and sport. Spent countless hours in the backyard as a child pretending to be Glenn McGrath, and has been known to get deadly late swing with a taped tennis ball.
