It doesn’t get much bigger than this, with $3.5 million up for grabs in the world’s richest two-year-old race, the 2021 Golden Slipper.
Let’s take a look at each and every runner and try to find the winner and some value…
1 – Shaquero – $26
Won the Magic Millions and then took out the Pago Pago when suited in run, don’t think he has the top end talent some of these have, price is about right.
IT'S WALLER.
IT'S BOWMAN.
IT'S SHAQUERO IN THE MAGIC MILLIONS 2YO CLASSIC.#TABMagicMillions | @tabcomau pic.twitter.com/D6DzoRJtlP

2 – Profiteer – $3.80 👀🏆💰
Profiles well having placed in the Todman, which is traditionally the best lead up form, where he arguably could’ve gone harder but was saved for his Grand Final run here. Has drawn nicely and maps to get a very good run on speed, and will take a lot of running down if he’s ready to go on the day.
Dominant performance from Profiteer as he captures the $2 million Inglis Millennium at @royalrandwick. Now with 2 from 2, the Capitalist colt was sold by @NewgateFarm – to @RolltheDiceRace & Rogers Bloodstock – for $165,000 at the 2020 @inglis_sales Classic #ItPaysToBuyAustralian pic.twitter.com/ISR1Fx80mo

3 – Artorius – $11 👀💰
Blue Diamond Stakes winners don’t have a great record in the race, and Artorius maps to get well back and will be spotting some of the leaders a fair head start. Can go in exotics but it’s tough to see him winning another big feature here.
4 – Ingratiating – $17
Maps back in the field and will be spotting them plenty of lengths. Will now be fifth up in the preparation and there has to be queries around his big frame getting through the wet ground. Hard to have.
5 – Anamoe – $16 💰
Similar to his fellow Blue Jacket Ingratiating, will have to get well back in the field and fly home on a track that has been favouring those on speed lately. Can include in exotics at the price.

6 – Home Affairs – $17 👀💰
Interesting that J Mac has jumped off Stay Inside to take this ride. Was in the best ground in the Todman and just missed, could make a case at the big odds.
7 – Kalashnikov – $41
Has absolutely none, would need to start running now.
8 – Stay Inside – $5 👀🏆💰
Was a sick watch in the Todman Stakes, running up backsides for most of the straight and only getting clear in the last 100m. Has to be a massive show and mist go in everything.
How good is Stay Inside?! @mcacajamez gets the win for @Freedman_bros with ease. pic.twitter.com/dTIQlczLb0

9 – Rocket Tiger – $67
Odds tell the tale, and is currently 2/5 lame at the time of writing and will need to pass a vet’s inspection to gain a start.
10 – O’president – $16 👀🏆💰
Has ticked the wet track box and led all the way to win in the Skyline Stakes. Is a bit of a smoky out of left field and can go in everything with confidence for the Waller / Boss combination.
O'President leads all the way to take out the Skyline Stakes at Randwick! @clarkyhk was on his own out in front and that's another #GoldenSlipper contender for @cwallerracing. pic.twitter.com/aoBD0JJ6GV

11 – Captivant – $51 👀💰
Over raced and did a fair bit wrong in the Skyline Stakes but finished off well and looks to get through the slop okay which is a big tick. Can be thrown in exotics at the monster price.
12 – Glistening – $71
Won the Reisling Stakes and has some well known powerful connections but the price tells the story.
13 – Four Moves Ahead – $7 👀🏆💰
Looks the best chance of the fillies and gets through the wet really well. Can’t knock her winning form, maps well, and has to be in your numbers.
She's got the moves.
She's got the class.

14 – Swift Witness – $41
Gai Waterhouse would have to produce a miracle to get the job done here and add to her vast collection of Golden Slippers. Stranger things have happened but she’s hard to have.
15 – Mallory – $34
Another coming from the Sweet Embrace Stakes formline, but this looks a tough ask.
16 – Queen Of Wizardry – $101
Good story for A Neasham to have a runner in the Golden Slipper so soon in her solo training career, but this looks a bridge too far.
Tip: 10-2-13-8
