The Tibbie Stakes is a $160,000 Group 3 race held at Newcastle Racecourse in New South Wales. It is for fillies and mares and is raced over 1400m with set weights and penalties. In 2020, the Tibbie Stakes will be run on Friday, September 18, the same day as the Newcastle Gold Cup and Cameron Handicap.

Nash Rawiller rode Sweet Deal to victory in the 2019 edition of the Tibbie Stakes, with Notation and Connemara finishing second and third respectively. It was the last race Sweet Deal ran in the spring but in 2020 she finished fifth in the Group 1 Coolmore Legacy.
