Trainer Ciaron Maher has announced the immediate retirement of sprinter Loving Gaby, just as she was set to begin another spring campaign.
On Tuesday morning, Maher issued a statement on twitter, detailing that Loving Gaby was suffering from heat and inflammation in her near fore limb, forcing the camp to end her preparation prematurely, and that she would be retired immediately.

Loving Gaby was a dual Group 1 winner, having secured the Manikato Stakes and the William Reid Stakes in her short but successful sprinting career.
She retires with just under $2.3 million in prizemoney, and was a $21 chance for this year’s The Everest.
