Jockey Hugh Bowman’s spring carnival plans have been halted after he was suspended for 20 days due to his ride on Farnan in the 2020 Run To The Rose.
Racing NSW stewards found Bowman guilty of a ‘running and handling’ charge during a hearing on Thursday.
Bowman had Farnan leading the field at a hot tempo during the race, before Farnan ran out of energy and faded to finish fifth in the Group 2 contest.
