A field of 10 has been finalised for Saturday’s Group 1 2020 Underwood Stakes (1800m) at Caulfield.
All eyes will be on short-priced favourite Russian Camelot ($1.95), who is looking to collect his first Weight-For-Age Group 1, on his way to a Cox Plate path.
The son of Camelot has drawn wide again, but in a smaller field of just 10 runners, it shouldn’t pose much of an issue.
Bob Peters’ Arcadia Queen ($5) lines up as the biggest danger to Russian Camelot, with Mr Quickie ($7.50) the only other runner in single figures.
Gailo Chop, Humidor, Trap For Fools, and Levendi are all experienced Group One winners taking their place in the field, with The Chosen One, Harbour Views, and So Si Bon all chasing their first Group One honours.
