2020 Empire Rose Stakes Final Field, Barrier Draw & Odds

Wed 28th October 2020

It’s shaping up to be a clash between the up-and-comer against the veteran on a comeback path in the 2020 Empire Rose Stakes (1600m), with Odeum and Mystic Journey dominating the early market.

Odeum is searching for a hattrick of wins after taking out the Jim Moloney Stakes (1400m) on the way to her Thousand Guineas (1600m) triumph, whereas Mystic Journey is seeking a second win in a row after returning from the wilderness with a win in the Stocks Stakes (1600m).

Both gallopers have drawn kindly, with Kerrin McEvoy set to ride Mystic Journey, and Jye McNeil hopping on Odeum.

They are the only two runners in single figures, with Archie Alexander’s lightly raced mare Chaillot, and Chris Waller’s last start winner Madam Rouge the next in the market.

Find the final field, barrier draw and odds for the Empire Rose Stakes below.
