Star mare Probabeel will be targeting the 2020 Cox Plate, as confirmed by Te Akau Racing on Monday.
The Kiwi has been in outstanding form this preparation, resuming with a flashing light run to finish second in the Show County Quality, before back-to-back wins in the Bill Ritchie Handicap, and last Saturday’s Epsom Handicap.
The bookies have been quick to react to the announcement, with Probabeel’s price slashed in the all-in Cox Plate market, to $17 on the fourth line of betting. Russian Camelot remains the $3.20 favourite.
