Promising staying colt Ain’tnodeeldun has attracted offers north of $2 million from suitors in Hong Kong.
Owners have rejected the bids, with connections keen to keep the son of Dundeel in Australia to target the Australian Derby (2400m) in April.
Co-trainer Sam Freedman confirmed reports about the big offers, but reiterated that connections were more than happy to race on locally.
“We’ve had offers from Hong Kong, around the $2 million mark,” Freedman said.
“Some horses you can be sure they’ve reached their ceiling when the offers come in but he looks like he can go on with it in the autumn,” Freedman said.
“He’s a nice horse – still very immature and learning his craft. Obviously we’re pretty happy to keep him in the stable.”
