The $600k contest is the final G1 on the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival calendar, and usually brings together a top class field of sprinter\/milers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last year\u2019s All Aged Stakes was taken out by the Chris Waller trained, Kolding, who is back again this year to defend his crown. If he is to do so, he will have to defy the odds, and beat a capacity field who are set to greet the starter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dab.app.link\/OgZmJUkLakb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dabble<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> currently has him (Kolding) a $71 chance, behind in-form mare and favourite Forbidden Love at $4.60. Mo\u2019unga and 3YO colt, In the Congo, are next best at $4.80, and it\u2019s out to double figures the rest, highlighting just how open the race is. So, we have dissected each of the horses&#8217; chances for you! Read on below to find our runner by runner preview of the 2022 All Aged Stakes along with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/m.me\/thesharkracingtips?ref=w15556893\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Shark\u2019s<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> best tips.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>1. Mo\u2019unga (9) &#8211; $4.80<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Tommy Berry 59kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Annabel Neasham<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resumed in the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield, where he ran a big race, to finish 2nd behind Sierra Sue. Had a quiet trial last week in preparation for this. Has had one go at the Randwick 1400m, where he was victorious in the G1 Winx Stakes. Cascadian (1) &#8211; $12<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; James McDonald 59kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; James Cummings<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Got a mile back out of his ground in the Doncaster last start, and made up many lengths to finish midfield. Prior to that was very good in the All Star Mile. Drops back to 1400m here and draws the inside gate, which doesn\u2019t necessarily look ideal, but if McDonald can get him into clean air at the top of the straight, he\u2019s proven time and time again he\u2019s capable of winning a race like this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>3. Kolding (13) &#8211; $71<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Sam Clipperton 59kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Chris Waller<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Has failed to land a blow this prep in both the Canterbury Stakes and George Ryder. Has trialled since then to keep him ticking over. Won this race last year, but hasn\u2019t been first past the post since then. Draws wide, and would have to improve on what he\u2019s done lately to be considered a winning chance, but will get a firmer racing surface, which will be more to his liking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>4. Zoutori (15) &#8211; $41<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Damian Lane 59kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Mathew Ellerton<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finished midfield in the Newmarket, before a decent effort in the TJ Smith last start. Steps up to the 1400m now which looks ideal, but the wide gate makes things tricky.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>5. Ellsberg (7) &#8211; $14<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Nash Rawiller 59kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Gerald Ryan &amp; Sterling Alexiou<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bolted in first up in G3 company, before just going down in the G2 Ajax. Led them up last start in the G1 Doncaster and was far from disgraced. Drops back to 1400m which is no problem, and he will roll forward from the good gate. Might cop some pressure up front, but being the horse he is, he will be thereabouts at the business end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>6. Laws of Indices (2) &#8211; $26<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Rachel King 59kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Annabel Neasham<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rolled forward and ran a bold race in the George Ryder, before an ordinary performance in the Doncaster, where he had a gun run. Looked to struggle at the mile last start, and should appreciate the drop in trip. Has a good second up record, and has fared well from the barrier draw, but may need one more before we see the best of him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>8. Forbidden Love (16) &#8211; $4.60F<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Hugh Bowman 57kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Michael Freedman<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In-form mare who won three on the bounce, including two G1\u2019s, before an honest performance in the Doncaster last start. Drops back in trip, which is a big plus, but comes up with an awful gate. Should get plenty of time to find a forward position from out there, and if she gets the right run, she can add another G1 to her name in this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>9. Tofane (12) &#8211; $11<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Mark Zahra 57kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Michael Moroney<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resumed her prep with an all the way win in the CF Orr, before another solid run in the Futurity. Found the Flemington mile a bit too much last start in the All Star Mile, but was far from disgraced. Won this race in 2020, and will be retired to the breeding barn after this. Would be a fitting send off if she were to win this, and if she gets a decent run in transit, she\u2019s more than capable of making that a reality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>10. Sierra Sue (6) &#8211; $14<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; John Allen 57kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Trent Busuttin &amp; Natalie Young<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Won the Futurity in good style two back, before getting to the line hard in the All Star Mile last start. Drops back to her pet trip here, has drawn well, and has the in form John Allen in the saddle. Ticks a lot of boxes, and may represent some good value. On the 7 day back up here, which suggests she has pulled up well, and rarely runs a bad race. Comes back to Sydney and drops back to 1400m which is no biggie, but has a poor record here at Randwick. If she puts in and runs as well as she can, she is a winning chance, but she\u2019s a hard one to trust.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>13. Hungry Heart (8) &#8211; $34<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Kerrin McEvoy 57kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Chris Waller<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resumed with a good run in the G2 Apollo Stakes nine weeks ago, and has been kept dry since then, quite literally. Has trialled since her first up run to keep her ticking over, and has to be considered an each way chance if the track isn\u2019t too wet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>14. In The Congo (10) &#8211; $4.80<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Tim Clark 56.5kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Gai Waterhouse &amp; Adrian Bott<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Led them up and was only nabbed late first up in The Galaxy at Rosehill. He then ran into a very smart one last week in the Arrowfield. Steps up to 1400m now, where he won the G1 Golden Rose at his only go. Will roll forward from the gate, and will be in it for a long way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>15e. Overpass (4) &#8211; $18<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Joshua Parr 56.5kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Bjorn Baker<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In-form colt who beat Forbidden Love first up in the Expressway. Wasn\u2019t far away in The Galaxy two back, and again last start in the TJ Smith behind Nature Strip. The 1400m at Randwick looks a test for him here, but if he gains a start, he\u2019s drawn soft and should get a good run in the race.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>16e. Shelby Sixtysix (5) &#8211; $20 &#8211; Scratched<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jockey &#8211; Robbie Dolan 59kg<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trainer &#8211; Danny Williams<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Much talked about Goulburn-trained gelding, who has evolved from a class2 bush horse, to a G1 star in one prep. Won The Galaxy two back, before finishing midfield in the TJ Smith last start. He\u2019s yet to win past 1200m, and looks as though the track may be a bit drier than he fancies. Although he\u2019s dazzled us all recently, it would be a big surprise to see him win this.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">They\u2019ll be fourteen runners in Saturday\u2019s All Aged Stakes at Randwick with the rail out eight metres from the 1600 to winning post. Racing in a purple patch of form, but it looks unlikely he will gain a start. If he does, he will need some luck from the gate, but can figure in the finish on his recent efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Final Word<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although this race brings to an end, the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival, we\u2019ve got a full field of classy gallopers set to do battle. The tempo should be genuine, and from the 1400m start at Randwick, every runner should get their chance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Savabeel entire, Mo\u2019unga, comes back to Sydney for this off a 7 week freshen, after an outstanding first up effort in the Futurity Stakes against the pattern. From the good barrier he should get every chance, and looks hard to beat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In-form mare, Forbidden Love, drops back to seven furlongs here after a brave effort in the Doncaster. She loves this track\/distance, and with some early luck from the wide gate, should be in the finish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3YO colt, In The Congo, backs up here after finishing second in a small Arrowfield Stakes field last start behind the very smart Mazu. He got a mile back out of his ground on that occasion, and did well to finish where he did. McDonald sticks and if the tempo is strong, watch for him late. Also out of the Doncaster, Laws of Indices, is capable of improving at big odds here back to 1400m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for the on topper, I\u2019m going with some value in Sierra Sue. All three runs this prep have been very good, including a dominant win in the G1 Futurity Stakes two starts ago. Last start she got a long way back in the All Star Mile, and ran some very good late sectionals in a leader dominated race.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She\u2019s drawn to get a gun run behind the speed, and drops back to 1400m where she is a winner of 6 from 9. John Allen has a good relationship with her, and she looks to have the right form for a race like this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Best All Aged Stakes Tip:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 10.
