After starting his apprenticeship in 1986 at the age of 15, Glen Boss has decided to call it a day on his incredible career. With 90 Australian Group Ones to his name, Boss retires as the sixth most successful Australian jockey of all time and his journey is one the best the sport has ever seen.

Makybe Diva is the most notable horse that Boss has partnered with over the years, winning three straight Melbourne Cups from 2003-05, as well as winning the 2005 Cox Plate and three other Group Ones together. However, he had so much more success outside of with the champion mare. Throughout his time in Australia, he has won more than 2400 races, with the highlights being three Melbourne Cups, four Cox Plates, two Golden Slippers and a The Everest.
