Most eyes will be on Caulfield with a big 2020 Memsie Stakes Day card, but Sydney also boasts three Group races, headlined by a hot 2020 San Domenico Stakes. Let\u2019s take a look at the feature races at Rosehill.<\/p>\n
A small but select field here, with four leading chances in the market; Mamaragan (1) at $4.40, Doubtland (2) at $4.20, Anders (3) at $3.80, and Peltzer (5) at $3.70.<\/p>\n
Strong cases can be made for all of these runners, reflected by their similarity in the market.<\/p>\n
Mamaragan (1) is the one I\u2019d be willing to take on first up over the 1100m. His form is outstanding from his two-year-old campaign, but I think he is at his best over further, and he may give them too many lengths from the wide gate.<\/p>\n
Doubtland (2) is a potential star and resumes here after his demolition job in the Kindergarten Stakes. He may also be better over longer, and it will be interesting to see if the Hawkes stable plots a Caulfield Guineas route for this galloper, to keep him away from stablemate North Pacific.<\/p>\n
Anders (3) turned heads in The Rosebud, leading all the way and looks a very good chance to do that again if he can cross Peltzer (5), who will also be looking to contest the lead.<\/p>\n
Anders (3) and Peltzer (5) look like they\u2019ll be laying it down all the way, possibly allowing Doubtland (2) to swoop in behind them if they\u2019re getting off the fence on the day.<\/p>\n
