The Flight Stakes was being billed as a match race between Hungry Heart ($1.90) and Dame Giselle ($2.80) and the stage was set for one of The Shark’s famous roughies to cause an upset… and Montefilia didn’t disappoint, saluting at a massive $12.00 on the day for a huge collect for The Shark Club!

The day was capped off with Angel Of Truth sticking on well to place in The Metropolitan Handicap, which saw hot favourite Mugatoo getting rolled by Mirage Dancer.
