We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, November 24th, and provided our best horse racing tips!
Sandown Lakeside, Race 2 – 4. Saint Loft ($9/$2.40)
Saint Loft was very impressive when winning on debut at Bendigo two weeks ago. The gelding showed exceptional early speed and was able to get out the front and dictate the race, something that is always beneficial when running at Sandown. He was then contested by the $2.80 favourite but showed good courage to hold him off and win by nearly a length. From barrier two, we will be looking for Craig Newitt to send him to the front again and he should be too hard to run down. Given we can get his place odds for more than the favourite’s odds to win, and we think Saint Loft is a chance to win, we are happy to play 1×3 (1 unit win, 3 units place) to start the day.
Go Wandji showed some serious toe! 🤯

Doomben, Race 2 – 2. Go Wandji ($1.55)
While tipping a $1.55 favourite is nothing to be impressed with, Go Wandji has been in the blackbook for quite some time now and connections are aiming the gelding at the G1 Stradbroke Handicap during the Queensland Winter Carnival. He is yet to miss a place from seven career starts, winning five of those, and he won his last start at 1350m by 4.5L. Chuck him in as an anchor leg in your daily multis.
Belmont, Race 1 – 1. Advanced ($2.40)
Pikey in the first is actually much better than Pikey in the last and that will be on display here. Advanced has one win from three tries but held his own last start despite finishing fourth, given he was less than 2L off at Ascot on a Saturday. The winner of that race came out in a listed race on Saturday and finished less than 3L off the pace, which holds up pretty well for a race of this level. The worry is that his win was on a soft track and his two misses have been on good tracks, which he will find here today. However, he gets the blinkers on for the first time and should be rock hard fit fourth up.
Doomben, Race 6 – 2. Shebringzit ($3.10)
The former South Australian mare has come to life with the warm weather of Queensland, running third in her first start up north before winning last start over this exact trip. It was her second win from as many tries over 2240m and she doesn’t increase in weight here from her last start win. The query is she rises from BM65 to BM68 level, but she finished 2L clear 12 days ago. If they are able to swoop on the soft Doomben track, Shebringzit will be running over the top.

Gosford, Race 6 – 9. Almighty Rising ($2.15)
It looks like a miserable day out at Gosford, with just six races being run on a heavy track, but we are looking to finish the card with a winner. Almighty Rising won first up over this trip last preparation before finishing second to Larkspur Run second up on a heavy track. That filly had a relatively successful Spring, finishing 2nd in a Group Three – ahead of Decent Raine who came out and romped them at Ballarat on Saturday. Those are some very impressive formlines for a Wednesday bm68 at Gosford and if he comes back in the same form then he will take some beating.
Best Bet – 2. Go Wandji (Doomben, Race 2)
Next Best – 2. Shebringzit (Doomben, Race 6)
Best Roughie – 4. Saint Loft (Sandown Lakeside, Race 2)
