Free Horse Racing Tips - 25th May
Tue 24th May 2022
Overwhelmed?

Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, May 25, and provided our best horse racing tips.

No Wednesday meeting in Brisbane this week as the wet weather continues to batter the eastern seaboard, and a Heavy 10 with more rain forecast for Canterbury in Sydney, so we’ve had to cover a few kilometres as we head to Balaclava in South Australia, Sale in Victoria’s Gippsland, and Belmont in the west to find you the winners this week.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, May 25.

Sale, Race 1 – 2. Eros ($2.35)

Only two genuine hopes here, but very hard to split.

Very hard to knock equal favourite Winning Revolution after its recent gutsy effort leading up the handy Aitch Two Oh, but the form around the Anthony and Sam Freedman Capitalist colt is pretty handy too.

Of his two runs to date he’s been beaten less than 2L by Xtravagant Star who went on to win the Inglis Millenium at its next start, and Counttheheadlights who was beaten less than 3L in a Blue Diamond.

That form has to stack up here if he’s right which his recent jump out win would suggest.

Tough on pacer with a nice action, who comes out of some strong form races, draws well and gets the services of McNeil.

Plenty to like.

Canterbury, Race 1 – 3. Knippenberg ($7.00/$2.25)

*This horse has since been scratched.*

Stark improvement from trial to trial with Keagan Latham taking over from the apprentice rider in this colt’s most recent outing and he sticks here.

Did a bit of work in that trial before being swamped late. The horse that bloused it was a complete forgive run when three deep the trip on debut.

It is a pretty skinny maiden and I’m happy to roll the dice here at attractive odds.

Balaklava, Race 5 – 14. Lights of Broadway ($2.70)

This Rebel Raider filly looks like she will relish the step up in trip to 1400m.

She sat deep the trip and took a while to switch on but attacked the line strongly late when asked the serious questions.

A repeat of that will have her winning this.

Belmont, Race 2 – 1. Magnificent Andy ($5.00)

He has to lump the 60.5kg here but for good reason.

He is the superior runner on form in the race having won two from seven, slotted into a No Metro Win affair.

Strikes this fourth run in with a gritty effort at 1400m under his belt. He will look the winner for a long way and has the quality to stave them off.

Canterbury, Race 6 – 3. Journalism ($8.00/$2.50)

*This horse has since been scratched.*

Nice win on debut then tipped straight out after failing second up when galloped on.

Two strong trials wins since, with Berry aboard on both and he has chased the ride here.

They are looking to back others here, just hope the price and the meeting hold up as there might be something there for punters late in the day.
