Overwhelmed?

We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Wednesday, March 23, and provided our best horse racing tips.

Certainly a sense of ‘Groundhog Day’ with the tips this week with a couple of runners we’ve been sweating on finally looking set to get a start after a number of wash outs over recent weeks.

It has been a hard slog for punters over the past month with scratchings galore and wet tracks, but we are confident we can bounce back here.

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Wednesday, March 23.

Warwick Farm, Race 1 – 1. Alpha One ($9.00/$2.40)

A much better performance last start by this son of Super One.

He still hasn’t fared too well with the draw here but he should be hard fit now third up after a good blow out on the heavy last start, where he worked hard to cross and lead only to be run down late by a fairly handy galloper in Spacewalk.

He’s been through the ground which will give him confidence and Berry sticks. Looks ready to break through.

Warwick Farm, Race 2 – 8. Waterford ($5.00)

They’ve had absolutely no luck in trying to get this fellow a start with the recent run of abandoned meetings, although on the brightside they have found a very winnable race here. The problem is they’ve shown their hand with a betting push only to not get a run after heading to the races without a trial.

Still, this looks a good starting point and they can tick this box and move on to better things.

Sandown, Race 1 – 3. Dun Warrior ($3.50)

Going with the well bred first starter here.

Probably found them a touch sharp when they quickened in the 1200m trial so really like the idea of going 1400m first up and it certainly shouldn’t be an issue on breeding by Dundeel out of a Redoute’s mare.

Nobody riding better than Jamie Kah at the moment, gets a good draw for its debut and the long run home at Sandown to show his best.

Has opened at backable odds.

Eagle Farm, Race 2 – 3. Kirsten ($3.50)

Not a lot in this maiden race so we are going with the Lee Freedman trained filly having her first start.

Has done everything right in her two public trials and found the line strongly at her latest outing when ridden just off the pace.

Looks the one they have to beat here.

Warwick Farm, Race 4 – 7. Forever You ($4.40)

Really liked what I was seeing as this mare progressed through her grades as she got out to her right trip, then just hit a stumbling block last start.

Got a long way back and things got messy in the straight.

Rachel King takes over from Jay Ford here which is a massive tick and you can expect her to race in a far handier position.

Wet track poses no problem and I think she is a progressive type.

Best Bet – 3. Kirsten (Eagle Farm, Race 2)
Next Best – 7. Forever You (Warwick Farm, Race 4)
Best Roughie – 1. Alpha One (Warwick Farm, Race 1)
