We'll message you the best tips for today!

We have studied the form from all races across the country for Saturday, June 25, and provided our best horse racing tips.

Saturday is Tatt’s Tiara day at Eagle Farm marking the final G1 of the racing calendar year but we’ve decided to stay south of the border this week, and give the tired tracks on the Brisbane circuit a miss, and focus on the Sydney meeting at Royal Randwick and the support card at Newcastle with a positive forecast for both the metropolitan and provincial areas

We have made five selections in total and are confident that we have found you some winners! So, read on below to find our best horse racing tips for this Saturday, June 25.

Royal Randwick, Race 2 – 5. Journalism ($4.20)

Did well to get there on the line when resuming when wanted to do plenty wrong and gave the rider a tricky time down the running.

Then led in good style to the corner at Warwick Farm 2nd up before the rider responded to pressure and went too early.

Avdulla relieved of the duties here in favour of stable favourite, and excellent front running rider, Tim Clark.

Expect an improved showing 2nd go at the mile now and with Clark up.

Newcastle, Race 5 – 2. Intuition ($4.80)

We’ve been quite brave with our picks this week going for a couple that have been out of the winner’s stall for some time, but none more so than this bloke.

The push here is third go at a mile and the fact the trainer has been able to get four runs into him at roughly fortnightly intervals. A first for a very long time.

Looked home last start at big odds which he shouldn’t have been coming off the Hawkesbury effort. He’s a rising 8yo by Street Cry who I’m certain the mile and even further has been his go for some time.

Hoof on the till, and a positive forecast. He’ll have no excuses whatsoever if it gets back to a Slow rated track.

Royal Randwick, Race 8 – 12. Mariamia ($6.50/$2.40)

I’ve been impressed with everything she’s done since being transferred to Joe Pride who has a knack of getting the best out of horses that are already thereabouts when they come to him.

Sound when the scamper to the outside fence pattern was against her first up. The registered a dogged win second up before covering ground throughout in the Group 2 Dane Ripper where she looked the winner peeling for home but the torrid run just numbed her finish.

Would only need to have come through the run to beat these off the soft draw.

Royal Randwick, Race 9 – 1. Mamaragan ($5.50/$2.15)

I’m certain we banished him to the ‘never, ever, again’ file on at least two occasions in the past but he’s got me again here.

Has had plenty of issues, mostly with his racing manners it would seem, and whilst he will never reach the heights of his 2YO career which saw him terribly unlucky not to have bagged a G1, I think he’s finally ready to bag win number 2 of his career and add to that half a million he already has in the bank.

His runs this time in have been excellent, and his latest was too good to ignore. Deep throughout and looked the winner at the 200m before the run told.

Wise to claim here, and keeping in mind this horse won a Group 2 on debut, this is literally the easiest race he has ever contested.

Harsh to give a 4YO life, so lets give this bludger one more chance? Solid odds in the field at time of print tells you he has found a winnable race.

Royal Randwick, Race 10 – 4. Jojo Was A Man ($4.40)

Close to, if not the win of the day here a fortnight ago. Sat deep, sprinted quickly, and staved off a challenger with a softer run late.

Plenty to like about that win, Reece Jones stays aboard and there’s plenty to like about how he is riding. And there’s a fair bit to like about the price as well with punters preferring the Gerald Ryan trained 3YO who has only posted wins at midweek venues to date.
