Kembla Grange
Bigboyroy – $9
The Shark got the day off to an absolute flyer with the familiar James McDonald / Chris Waller combination, as Bigboyroy saluted at $9 for The Shark Club!
The big fella hadn’t won in nearly a year to the day but displayed a lovely turn of foot to return to the winners stall, and lock in a perfect start to the day!

Ballarat
Prince Amongst Men – $21.50/$6
Always tough to pick these early season two-year-old races but The Shark was on the money, with Prince Amongst Men wearing down leader Rambeau in the straight but just getting swamped on the line.
It would have been a huge $20+ result, but The Shark Club was more than happy to scoop up the $6 on offer for the place!
What a call from Dayne Barry!

Excess Funds – $5.50
The very next race at Ballarat saw The Shark Club hit the bookies with a nice 1-2 punch, with an excellent ride from Damian Lane on Excess Funds.
A few were flying home late to try and spoil the party, but the son of Rubick was able to hold on bravely and secure a very nice result at $5.50.
