The rematch of two out and out superstars has scared away some would be competitors, with a field of just five set to fight it out in the 2021 Ranvet Stakes.

Came out here last autumn and won the Ranvet and the Queen Elizabeth Stakes in thrilling fashion, and very may well do so again. An absolute star who notched a Group 1 win at Ascot against fellow champion Magical last start.

2 – Master Of Wine – $10 💰
If the two shorties fail or tire each other out, then this bloke looks the likely galloper to cause an upset. Promised the world last spring and didn’t deliver, and would need to pull a rabbit of a hat to win this.
3 – Prince Fawaz – $201
You could add another zero to the price and it’d be hard to get enthused. No.
4 – Verry Elleegant – $2.20 👀🏆💰
Stamped herself as an absolute star and has claims of being the best horse in the country, especially with Russian Camelot retiring. Won in a massive finish in the Chipping Norton Stakes over Colette and Avilius, and will need to reel off another huge effort to beat Addeyyb this time around. She won’t be bothered by the expected Heavy track, and it will be a great race to watch.

5 – Nettoyer – $41
Of course won the Doncaster at similar odds on a Heavy deck, but hasn’t done a whole lot since and lightning would have to strike twice here.
