The Reginald Allen Quality is a 1400m Listed race held at Randwick Racecourse in New South Wales. The handicap is for three-year-old fillies and has a total prize pool of $140,000. In 2020, it will be run on Saturday, October 17.
The 2019 edition of the Reginald Allen Quality was won by the Brad Widdup-trained Akari. Betcha Flying and Mayaaseh finished second and third respectively, while Special Snap rounded out the first four. After winning the race, Akari claimed victory in the HKJ Club Stakes.

ockey Tim Clark has had great success in the Reginald Allen Quality over the last 10 years, winning the race three times. The first victory was onboard M’Lady Pedrille and it was followed by wins on Zenalicious and I Like It Easy.
No trainer has been able to quite match that success, although Chris Waller did win the Reginald Allen Quality twice in a five-year stretch between 2009 and 2013.
Akari clocked 1:21.55 to win the 2019 Reginald Allen Quality, which is the fastest 1400m time the race has seen over the last 20 years. The Randwick track record over the same distance belongs to Trapeze Artist, who clocked 1:20.33 in 2018.
