The Caulfield Village Stakes is a 1200m Listed race held at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne. The handicap has a prize pool of $140,000 and in 2020 will be run on Wednesday, October 13, which is the same day as three Group 3s at Caulfield.
The James Cummings-trained Haunted won the 2019 edition of the Caulfield Village Stakes, with Parsifal and Inn Keeper finishing second and third. Short-priced favourite Zoustyle finished fourth, fading in the last 100m. Later in the spring, Haunted raced in the Group 3 Chatham Stakes, finishing mid-field.

Peter Snowden has had great success in the race in recent times, training three winners in the last eight years. David Hayes has also performed well, training two Caulfield Village Stakes winners over the last five years.
In 2019, Haunted won the Caulfield Village Stakes in 1:09.81 but the fastest time in the race belongs to In Cahoots. The 2014 winner claimed victory in 1:09.70, beating the likes of Adamantium and Eclair Big Bang. The 1200m Caulfield track record is 1:07.74, which Miss Andretti ran in 2007.
