A number of horses, like Bivouac, have gone on to win the Golden Rose after racing to victory in The Run To The Rose. Recently, we’ve seen the likes of Hallowed Crown (2014), Denman (2009) and Paratroopers (2005) all achieve the feat.

Bivouac won The Run To The Rose in 2019 with a very handy 1:08.72, however it’s not the fastest 1200m time in the race. That honour belongs to Menari, who in 2017 clocked 1:08.59.
