Raging The Kosciuszko (1200m) favourite is under a health cloud for Saturday’s $1.3 million contest, with trainer Brett Cavanough informing stewards that the horse was scoped after coughing following a swim on Wednesday.

The mare is so far undefeated from three career starts, and is the clear $2.15 favourite for The Kosciuszko.
Cavanough said that he’s confident that the galloper will be right to go come Saturday.
“She had a cough so to be sure I scoped her and found a bit of mucus,” Cavanough said.
“Every horse in Australian has probably got a bit of mucus in the throat but when I found it and treated her for it I had to let the stewards know.
“Fender had the same thing two weeks ago and you wouldn’t have known a couple of days later.
“I’m not jumping at shadows. I don’t think it will be a problem come Saturday afternoon.”
