Another $1 million race in the NSW Carnival is on the cards this week, with The Gong (1600m) up for grabs at Kembla Grange.
There have been 24 nominations, attracting some very strong entrants overall, including four from the Chris Waller camp, headlined by last year’s winner Mister Sea Wolf.

Reloaded, Savacool, and import Olmedo round out Waller’s chances, with James Cummings also nominating four runners, including Asiago, Rainer, Cascadian, and Best Of Days.
