Catalyst’s spring campaign has ended prematurely, after the Kiwi galloper pulled up injured following his last place effort in The Shorts (1100m).
The son of Darci Brahma was a $9.50 chance in The Shorts, but failed to beat a runner home and was reported to have pulled up lame in the off foreleg.
Upon further examination, the camp announced minor joint issues had been found, and that Catalyst’s spring was over.
