Nature Strip Dumps James McDonald in Monday Barrier Trial

The Everest favourite Nature Strip caused a stir during a Monday morning barrier trial, dumping jockey James McDonald to the ground when exiting the barriers.

The star sprinter threw McDonald over his right shoulder and to the ground during the opening Monday barrier trial.

Both trainer Chris Waller and racing manager Charlie Duckworth went onto the track and secured a loose Nature Strip.

Both Nature Strip and James McDonald are in good health after the incident.

Nature Strip is currently the $4 favourite for The Everest.
