Retired Australian sprinter Houtzen has sold for US $1.5 million (over $2 million AUD) at the Keeneland Sales in Lexington, Kentucky overnight.
The Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner was sold in foal to US sire Curlin.

Former trainers Trent and Toby Edmonds were pleased with the result, taking to twitter to share their feelings on the sale.

The sale will be a good result for Aquis Farm, who bought a large share in Houtzen before she contested the Group 1 King Stand Stakes in Great Britain.
