
Trainer Geoff Duryea has scratched his sprinter Front Page from Saturday’s The Kosciuszko, after the galloper became fractious in its float while being transported.
Trainer Geoff Duryea reported to RNSW Stewards that Front Page sustained injuries to the near side eye & off hind leg when he became fractious while being floated. Mr Duryea’s stable vet certified Front Page is not suitable to start in The Kosciuszko and has been withdrawn

It is confirmed that the horse sustained injuries to its near side eye and off hind leg, and is not in suitable condition to race on Saturday.
Slot holder William Farrer Hotel have selected Prairie Fire as Front Page’s replacement, with the runner to jump from barrier 8.
No 18 – Prairie Fire has been selected by the William Farrer Hotel slot as the replacement horse for Front Page in Race 5, The Kosciuszko, and will start from barrier 8, the barrier drawn by Front Page.

Prairie Fire is currently a $61 chance in The Kosciuszko.
